For Easter we decided to do something fun, and memorable. So we took the kids to the Dallas World Aquarium. On our way up to the exhibit we decided to get on an elevator instead of taking the stairs. The doors opened, we stepped inside with about 8 other people, kids included, and the doors closed behind us. We hadn't even gone up a foot when the elevator stopped. Yes, it completely stopped. We had to use the elevator phone to call someone to the rescue. We were stuck inside the claustrophobic elevator with ornery kids, for about 20 minutes, while maintenance frantically tried to get us out. Finally the doors opened and we stepped down from the elevators captivity. After getting a full refund, along with the friendly people we got acquainted with while held hostage by the elevator, we were happily on our way, up the stairs this time 'round. Zion loved every minute of it till the end, as you may notice in the last picture, and even lil' Ez enjoyed the scenery. Eric and I had fun too. Honestly, it was better than the zoo, maybe for the simple fact that it is inside and I didn't have to wear sunscreen, but we had a blast!

I was so impressed with the aquarium when we went. Locke was so fun to have there so I am sure the Zion was just like him loving (almost) every minute of it.

Hi Haley, Suzy here, havent looked at the blog in a while, Nice to see the kids. Cant believe how big they are. And yes, Aquarium is a lot of fun. We missed each other there. coz Danny and I went two weekends before you guys.

So I haven't seen you guys in a while, but i noticed eric doesn't have the dreads anymore. He looks very nice! =)
Guess it's better to be held hostage by an elevator if your gonna be held hostage. =) That's cool you got a refund. Sometimes I wish something like that would happen to pay for the trip, especially when it's something real expensive, but it never seems to happen like that.
